Paragon Elementary School, part of the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville, was built in 1970 on 10 acres. The building has 15 classrooms accomodating kindergarten through grade 5.      Paragon Homecoming is celebrated each fall. A parade, and the crowning of the homecoming queen are highlights of the festivities, as well as good food, music and midway rides for the kids.
