| Brooklyn is located in Morgan County Indiana on State Road 67. It is approximately seven miles north of Martinsville and fifteen miles south of Indianapolis. Once a farming community and home to a thriving brick manufacturing company, it is now a quiet suburb town from which most of its residents commute to the larger surrounding communities to work. The last census, taken in 1994, showed an approximate population of 1,347 citizens. |  |
