In 1874 the Stierwalt School stood near the site of the Corinth Baptist Church. Since the church moved to the east side of Plano Road at a later date, the school site would have been somewhere on the west side of Plano Road across from the church. There is no trace left of the school, which was on Stierwalt land.

West of Plano, the Little Brick School was in service at least until 1908.

Two years of high school were taught in Lewisville until about 1915.

Ashland Township consolidated with Eminence in 1949.

Eminence Consolidated School (shown at right) is the local school today. It currently has 460 students in grades K-12.
