MONEY FOR COLLEGE AND EXCELLENT PAY

You can earn a salary and receive Montgomery GI Bill Payments for college tuition by working part-time, usually one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer.

PAID SKILL TRAINING AND Joe EXPERIENCE

Receive paid skill training and job experience in the field of your choice and gain an edge on life by having the training and experience employers are seeking.

HEAD START ON COLLEGE

With the Concurrent Admissions Program you can enroll in college at the same time you enlist in the

National Guard. You may also receive college credits for your National Guard Training before you start

college. Plus, you earn more college credits with the college level examination program and take the SAT/ACT for free.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

You can learn teamwork skills to help you become a leader. If qualified, you may attend a formal leadership school to train you to become a leader and manager. This training can be directly applied toward your professional development and give you an advantage over your peers in your civilian employment.

DELAYED TRAINING WITH PAY OPTIONS

You can delay basic training and start being paid while still in school.

SPLIT TRAINING OPTION

High School Juniors CAN earn up to $1,600 before their senior year by completing basic training, plus earn up to $120 a month during their senior year.

SERVE AT HOME AND TRAVEL

You normally serve one weekend a month in or near your hometown or where you will be attending college. You have the opportunity to travel to your initial and annual training locations, here in the U.S. or abroad.

ADVENTURE AND EXCITEMENT

You can have the opportunity to do and experience things unlike any in civilian life — from rappelling down the side of a cliff or out of a helicopter, to live fire exercises.
