How to
Become a Certified Master Gardener*
Once you've completed
your basic Master Gardener training you should become a certified Master Gardener.
Requirements for certification are that you complete 30 hours of
volunteer
work related to horticulture in your community. Keep track of your volunteer
activities and submit them to Chris Parker,
Extension Agent. He will verify your volunteer work and order your certificate of
completion from Purdue University.
*Please note, you do not have to be a member of the Morgan County
Master Gardener Association to become certified, but the organization is a great resource
to keep in touch with Master Gardener learning
opportunities.
