After receiving your basic
certification, you may want to become an Advanced Master Gardener. In order to receive
that certification you need to get six additional hours of training
through workshops, fieldtrips, classes, lectures, or programs given at the Master Gardener
meetings and 25 hours of additional community
volunteer work.
Keep track of your hours and submit them to
Chris
Parker for verification. He will order your certificate of completion from Purdue
University.
*Please note, you do not have to be a member of the Morgan County Master Gardener
Association to become certified. But the organization is a great resource to keep in touch
with Master Gardener programs and opportunities.
