Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana (HLFI)

The largest private statewide preservation group in the United States, with an Indianapolis headquarters and nine regional offices staffed by professionals who help Hoosiers save and restore old buildings.

Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology (DHPA)

The DHPA facilitates state and federal preservation programs and is the staff of the State Historic Preservation Officer. The DHPA promotes the conservation of Indiana's cultural resources through public education efforts, financial incentives including several grant and tax credit programs, and the administration of state and federally mandated legislation.

Association for Gravestone Studies

 Founded in 1977, AGS is an international organization with an interest in gravemarkers of all periods and styles. It also features a year-by-year chronology of Buffalo history, dozens of essays and illustrations, and links to similar web sites, including this one. Teachers will want to access the pages on Activities for Elementary & Secondary Classes Studying Buffalo History and Buffalo Architecture.
