David Ross has been the director of the Morgan County Public Library since 1996, and concurrently has served on the SCICAN board as treasurer. He works with the grant, education, and web development committees.

A lifelong Indiana resident, David has three degrees from Indiana University: an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and Master’s Degrees in Library Science and Comparative Literature.

David lives on 4 acres with wife Linda (a respiratory therapist whose personality is like a breath of fresh air), and nine cats: Benny, Cheeseball, Dougal, Ozzie, Misha, Oscar, Angus, Teeker, and Millie. The Rosses have grown children: Matt, Maggie.

Hobbies: humor, computer programming, photography, videography, running.

Current reading: Marcel Proust: In Search of Lost Time.
